For us at Naadyatra, having the right partners is important. This time we are hosting the yatra at the Sanskriti Kendra. Sanskriti Kendra lies amidst a large farm land in Anandgram, just off the busy Mehrauli- Gurgaon Road (between the Arjangarh & Ghitorni Metro stations).
The Kendra is an artist village that is managed by the Sanskriti Foundation (an NGO). It was setup to help cultivate an environment for preservation and promotion of India's artistic and cultural resources. The foundation runs artist-in-residence programs along with workshops for scholars, artists and craftsmen.
The Kendra also houses three museums - Museum of ‘Everyday Art’, Museum of Indian Terracotta (tribal art) and a Textile Museum.
